HOW MANY BARTENDERS DO YOU RECOMMEND?

At Barcode, we strive for great service.  As such we suggest 2 bartenders for every 30 people. This will ensure that there is always someone on hand to help the guests.

 

WHAT SIZE BAR SHOULD I GET?

Barcode Jamaica always ensures that patrons have easy access to our bars. We recommend 8ft of bar for 60 persons.

 

HOW DO I SAMPLE THE DRINKS?

We offer pre-event tasting sessions so that you can have an idea of what your guests will be served. This is applicable to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic bars.

 

WHERE DO I GET THE ALCOHOL?

You can supply your own alcohol or we will supply it for you. We will handle delivery, collect and run stock systems so that we do not exceed your budget without your consent. We also provide buffer stock at events in addition to your order in case it is needed. This buffer stock is only used with your authorization.

 

CAN I SUPPLY MY OWN BEVERAGES?

If you prefer to provide your own alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, we will provide you with an extensive list of products and the suggested quantities for your event.

 

HOW DO I GET BILLED?

Even though your estimate is done on a consignment basis, you are billed based on consumption and you pay only for what you use.

 

WHO TAKES CARE OF THE BAR DURING THE EVENT?

A supervisor and manager is provided for each event depending on its size. Our bar managers control the stock, manage the bar staff and oversee any other details for bar execution.

 

IS THERE A WAY TO ENSURE THAT I DON’T EXCEED MY BEVERAGE ESTIMATE?

If you get your beverages from us, our bar manager will ensure that the limit is not exceeded.

 

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE GLASSES?

Barcode can provide glassware or disposable drinkware based on the type and size of the event.

 

DO YOU TAKE SPECIAL REQUESTS?

Barcode Jamaica tailors all of our bars to fit the needs of our clients.

 

HOW DO YOU TRAIN YOUR STAFF?

Each staff member is placed through a series of interviews and screening processes. After passing this stage they participate in mandatory training courses. We also conduct regular re-training sessions to ensure that our staff are always serving with excellence, competence and style.

 

DO WE PROVIDE OTHER TYPES OF SERVICES?

Barcode Jamaica also offers rental services, consultation services, cash bar events, mixology, flair tending, cashiering services, bottle service and consignment services.

 

WHAT IS CONSIGNMENT?

Consignment is the process by which the customer is billed only for products used at the event. These include liquors, beers, chasers and other disposable items. This does not include perishable items such as fresh juices, coconut water, ice etc.

 

DO WE REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Only a small 60% deposit is required on the liquors on consignment and the fixed costs in total.

 

WHAT IF OUR FINAL BILL COMES UP LESS THAN THE DEPOSIT?

That will be no problem. Barcode Jamaica will simply refund you the difference or apply a credit for an upcoming event.

 

DO YOU OFFER SAME-DAY QUOTING?

Barcode Jamaica offers same-day quoting to our clients unless advised otherwise.
